I've tried the local "Lazer Wash" with some sucess..... doesn't seem to bother the engine much... water converts to steam pretty quick I guess. The underbody blast is pretty short in duration, too. Just remeber to towel off the door jams if the weather is like here in Anchorage. I must have looked pretty silly flinging myself against the door repeatedly till I was free.
