OK I know it seems like a wierd time of the year to be worrying about AC
(especially here in NJ since it is around 20 F everyday) but I might be
selling my '91 Carat Vanagon soon so I will be needing this hose to get the AC
online for the next owner. I need the hose that goes from the compressor to
the condensor all the way in the front of the van. I will pay any reasonable
price for this hose used (no chafe or wear marks) or new (if anyone knows
where I can get one new beside the dealer) or I could be persuaded to trade
some parts for it. Please help me out with this one. I tried to get the hose
made but my local AC folks said that the end that hooks to the compressor is
not made any more. I really couldn't believe this since I have seen Sanden
compressors on lots of other vehicles besides VWs.
If you have a source for one of these ends I would be interested in buying one
of them.
Thanks
