Whoa. Ease up there, Timmy. Ron - or Todd or Ken or Chris - may indeed be
out to make money. What's wrong with that? If I can get the parts I need
at a fair price - notice I didn't say "absolute lowest, dirtball,
whale-doodoo, noone'd-make-money-at-this-level, search
everywhere-and-can-get-it-for-$.05-less-but-I-gotta-drive-an-hour-to-get-it
" - then I'm happy. You can support the list vendors or not - your choice.
For the amount of mail I get from this list, Ron's "advertising" - or spam,
as you put it - hardly makes a dent. If it's worth my while, I'll read it.
If not, there's this little key I found recently, tucked away in the dark
recesses of my keyboard, labelled <delete>. I use it for some of Ron's
posts (sorry, Ron) and any others I find of little or no interest. Use
that key. It's your friend, trust it. And allow the rest of us uninformed
sotts to continue along our merry way, ignorant to the spam we didn't know
was spam, but spotting fetid drivel when we read it.
