We're shopping for a Vanagon and would like to have a vehicle we're
serious about checked out by an experienced VW mechanic.  If anyone has
a recommendation (we've been told that Blazer Automotive in Denver is
good...?), or a warning of someone to avoid, I'd appreciate hearing
about it.

I hesitated a little in asking this question since, from looking thru
the archives a bit, it seems that almost all of you can service your own
Vanagons! Maybe we'll give that a try someday since the Vanagon won't be
our *only car* and we could take our time with any necessary repairs,
but we need to at least start off with a good mechanic.
