Tim,
We all respect and admire your knowledge and expertise in the venerable
Vanagon. You have helped many of us and have given of your knowledge
freely, which we do appreciate.
On one hand, I too disapprove of the commercial posts, but when they are
offered in response to an inquiry, I don't think they are so bad. When
you think about how little the rest of us know about our vehicles and
what a rip the dealers are, I think the vendors responses should be
tolerated. We all realize they are in it for the money, and thank (pick
a diety of your choice) they are!!
As a final, friendly word: if you can't convince them to go away, just
filter their posts to the trash bin, and you won't have to be bothered
by them.
