I'll admit that I do not.  The only factor that I can see as to why
I haven't done one is the cost!  Used ZF's for the 091s run close
to $1000 for the part alone when available and the Quaife's for
the Type Is are between $1000 and $1500 (new).  Big dollars
in anyones book!  I have seen the Quaif's for the 020 5-speed
FWD Golfs/Jettas and they appear to be of high quality.

This cost factor is undoubtedly a motivating reason that Weddle
Engr. has their "LockRite" diff kits starting around $300 for the
2 spider and $350 for the 4 spider 091 diff sections.
