Just read the latest issue of Automobile magazine.  They voted the New Beetle
as thier "Car of the Year" and they say it was a landslide victory.  The retro
yet futuristic styling is what attracted them to the NB besides the fact that
from what I hear it is just a really good car and a good value for the money.
Also the new Passat got the sedan of the year.  I love these cars both because
of thier looks and the quality level seems really high.  A new Passat Wagon
with a TDI would probably lure me away from Vanagons (but I don't see this
happening any time soon).
Just thought you folks would like to know that it seems like VW is actually
getting thier act together and making a good product again.  Now if they can
just get the customer service back to where it was in the 60's they would be
THE car company for the next century.
