This is a thank you, not a resume.

You stepped into the breach (literally, it seems) in taking over a very
demanding task.

Thanks so much for your efforts.  As a father (admittingly one who last
changed diapers quite a while ago), I can fully appreciate and agree with
your decision.

Let us hope that there are some zealous volunteers who will take care of the
Admin duties.  Perhaps a joint command would ease the strain and allow some
time for a bit of life's other pleasures.
