Hello Folks,

I have a 86 Vanagon 2.1 auto Digifant.

Can anyone tell me if the coolant sensor that is locate right next to the
thermostat is the same one that
runs the tempreature guage on the dash?
It suddenly went dead(dropped to no reading).  I have checked the sensor and
it reads ok according to Bentley.

 DO I have the correct sensor?
