I thought this had to go up to the fuse box? It is my understanding that the
existing wire cannot handle the amps and loads down the electrical system
and thus provides less than 12V to accesories and or lights, etc.? VW put
the 90 Amp in as of Oct 82 as an option? My 82 was before this time. Did VW
make any wiring differences between the 45, 65 to --> 90 Amp?

Also, If I use the Bosch 90 amp alternator, is there any modifications
needed in the alternator bracket or wiring connections?

Thanks
Bill
