Bill - The metric size on your list, though, is mm2, rather than
diameter.  A 0.5mm(dia) wire is the equivalent to AWG #24, a 1.0mm -
#18, a 1.5mm - #14.  A 6.0mm wire corresponds  to AWG #3.
