Thanks to all the listmembers who responded with advice and offers of
assistance when my van had starting troubles late last week.  A quick
trip to the local Auto Zone in Northhampton, MA for a set of jumper
cables got me started and I had no further difficulties on the trip home
to Maine.  Still haven't totally isolated the fault, if it is not the
simple weak battery, then something is drawing it down at rest.
