Ian - Actually, in seems like the engine compartment in my '74 van was
actually hotter than my '85.  We have so many "engineer" types on the
List, maybe one can borrow a remote temperature gauge and try it out
back there, in various positions?

I have to make a three hour trip Saturday afternoon.  I've bought a big
ole DiGigorno's pizza supreme to sacrifice back there during the trip.
Will give my report Saturday evening.
