Ok, I gotta ask. Why is it necessary to replace all the coolant? Mine was flushed and filled this past summer, seems like a terrible waste. I'm also replacing the pump on an '84, due to bearing failure. John Flaherty '84 Vanagon GL '74 Super Beetle
