Having just done the clutch in my wife's '89 Fox, the sleeve should be on the
examine very carefully/replace list.  It was worn, caused a squeak every time
the clutch was engaged, was inexpensive to replace, and the clutch is smooth
as butter now. There's $0.02 worth.
