Per - Can't speak for other States, but on I-75 through TN, GA and FL,
the VW van series are on the list of "suspicious" vehicles to stop and
try to check for hauling various illegal drugs.  They call it
"profiling" over here.  A State Trooper told me that it is because only
"weird" folks drive VW vans and "weird" folks are probably doing
something illegal.
