I have an '84 Westy and average around 19-21 mpg. I don't go over 65 and usually cruise at 60. I've intalled a K&N air filter and it "seemed" to help out the low end, so I don't have to rev the hell out of the engine to climb. Just my Canadian Nickel. >Date: Wed, 10 Feb 1999 22:06:46 -0800 >Reply-To: MtnGal <mtngal@SIERRATEL.COM> >From: MtnGal <mtngal@SIERRATEL.COM> >Subject: New thread: TO ALL: What kind of Gas Mileage is one to expect?? >To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > >This is an interesting thought....I get lousy mileage, or so I thought until >I heard of a similar story... >What kind of Gas Mileage is one to expect?? >What kind of van do you drive?
