I'm (finally!) in the process of re-assembling my 1.9L engine; I'm about
to re-attach the heads. I started looking at the sealant that came with
the engine gasket kit I bought from Bus Depot - it's green and labeled
Universal Sealing Compound 100PU. Anyone out there know if this is the
correct type for the head gaskets? I was under the impression that the
head gasket sealant was a black compound, and thicker than this green
stuff.
