I don't know how I can  show you that the Inline engine
is the only way to go .

But think about to have a Powerplant with 115 hp
and enough torque to get up on step hills with out
being on the limit  of the WBX.

And even you pay twice the money for twice the lifetime
you will also get more times the fun to drive a Vanagon
with out being on the engine limit.
Our 5 cyl. kit is ready to go for your need for  US$ 6000
a WBX  ready installed will cost you US$ 3800
the different is only US$ 2200 and that is not that much
money for twice or more engine lifetime, less expensive
maintance , the right power and lot of fun.
