With all this talk about Volkswagen and trade marks, I decided to search for a few regular VW names. Everything looked normal until I entered "Eurovan" and discovered that although VW currently owns this name, it was first registered by GM in 1987. So when VW decided to use this name and discovered that is was already owned by GM, did they just call up GM and ask to buy the name? Or did VW have to trade some other name for it. So will we see a new GM van called the "Transporter"?, or will we see the Chevy Dasher in the near future. Personally, I'd hate to see them give up "Thing" Steve Lashley '74 Campmobile '93 EV MV EuroCampers.com Importing German Side Tents, Carver Propane Heaters and other Accessories for Bus, Vanagon and Eurovan (not a Chevy)
