The German Smog law is a little difficult.
Even when you try to buy a US Cat for you
German Vanagon you have to get the up grade aprooft
by the German TUV.
If you didn't have the right paperwork you spend approx. $3000
for an aproof certificate.
Even when you have a TWC in your Vanagon ,depending on the age,
you have to pay Road tax 13.80 DM for each 100 ccm of
engine displacement.
