Here's a brief rundown of the 99 schedule --

Friday night -
Traditional camp out @ Mountain VWs.
Saturday
8:30 A.M. - Gather @ Ingles parking lot, intersection of 25E & 25-70, in
Newport, TN.

9:00 a.m. - Leave Newport headed towards North Carolina on 25-70.

9:45 a.m. - Pass through Hot Springs, NC.

10:30 a.m. - Gas stop, 25-70 just before Asheville bypass (usual place).

11 a.m. - Head towards I-26 east on Asheville bypass 240. Take I-26 East
to Fletcher, NC exit 13. Take the exit then North and after a couple of
gear shifts pull into GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE on the right.

11:45 a.m. - Arrive @ GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE for Special One Hour Sale, Shop
Tour, Boneyard Tour & Refreshments.

12:45 p.m. - Leave GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE headed east on I-26 to exit 23 and
Hwy. 25 south to Greenville, SC  and VINTAGE AUTO.

2:00 p.m. - Arrive @ VINTAGE AUTO - 605 Pine Knoll Dr. - Greenville, SC
for one hour sale, shop tour, boneyard tour, $1 a plate lunch, new
MEXICAN BEETLE viewing, sales & test drives, media interviews, filming &
photos.

4:00 p.m. - Leave VINTAGE AUTO for PARIS MOUNTAIN STATE PARK in
Greenville and the DAYS INN in Easley. To reserve a room call
864-859-9902 & tell them Julie quoted a rate of $39.95.

SUNDAY
9:00 a.m. - Meet at DAYS INN in Easley.

9:15 a.m. - Leave DAYS INN headed to VW PARTS in Central, SC.

9:45 a.m. - Arrive @ VW PARTS for one hour sale, shop tour, free pancake
breakfast and formal announcement of the 1999 SOUTHEASTERN BUG FAIR in
Toccoa, GA.

11:00 a.m. - Leave VW PARTS  headed for JAKE RABY'S VW in Cleveland, GA.

11:45 a.m. -  Arrive @ JAKE RABY'S VW for one hour sale/swap meet, engine
demonstration, shop tour, bone yard tour and free refreshments.

1:00 p.m. - Leave JAKE RABY'S VW headed for the SHAKE SHACK in Cleveland,
TN.

2:00 - 2:30 p.m. - Rest stop at the Parking Area at the Ocoee River
Olympics site. Great spot for photos & a sandwich.

3:30 - 4:00 p.m. - Arrive @ the SHAKE SHACK for free dinner, awards
presentations and the formal announcement of the SPRING THAW VW SHOW
presented by the COOL BREEZE VW CLUB to be held at this location.
