        There were a couple of posts last week about a potential replacement for
the VC in Syncros and possible applications a limited slip for 2wd
vanagons.  The product sounds good, see www.ashacorp.com/gerodisc.html. I
contacted the vendor asking about applications and cost.  I received the
following response:

is not yet available. Asha is addressing OEM opportunities initially, but
now we are developing our aftermarket program. It will be another year
before there could be a unit available for your vehicle. Please stay in
