Subject:Frozen accelerator cable
From:Stu Schwartz
Date:Tue, 9 Mar 1999 19:06:54 -0500

I have this problem..it seemed to only happen when it was cold and I
floored it to go up a hill. Then it happenend while warm...it is going
into the shop this week. I thought it was at the carburetor...seems to
be a week spring combined with heavy grease. The only way I could
unstick it was by pulling the cable at the carburetor. I am NOT a
weekend mechanic...I will let you know how they fixed it.
