I just bought an 84 Wolfsburg Vanagon and the charging light doesn't
work. it glows slightly all the time. I seems to be charging.  I took
the wire off the generator and grounded it out and it works.  The
general opinion is that there is a short in the generator.  Just
wondering if anyone else had any ideas?
