I'll start using 15W/50 Mobil 1 on my 93 EVMV soon. Is Duralube safe? Will it quiet noisy hydraulc lifters? Does it work at all? How about 87-octane gas? There is no pinging noises yet, but do I still higher octane gas for other reasons (detergent properties, etc,...)? TIA for any suggestions.
