I also think Bosch is the way to go.  I installed a "cheap" cap on a
customer's Jetta because they were tight on money (made in China or
something).  Had to remove the cap while checking out the engine the other day
and with only about 10k miles on it the towers seem to be oxydizing where the
rotor hits.  It is like they are turning to white powder.  The rotor (which I
could only get in Bosch) was still like new.
