Subject:Re: engine rebuild

I had the engine in my '82 Vanagon rebuilt by Ellsworth in Mountain View.
Specialize in VW, Porsche, Dune Buggies, Modified Engines. (415) 968-7884.
This is old information - I suppose they are still in business. I pulled
and reinstalled and the cost for the air - cooled motor was $2162.17. The
engine was balanced, new heads, new euro 914 pistons, high lift cam (rv
profile). By the time I had it back in the car I had spent $2443.59 with
all the little things.
Respectfully,
Steve
