The Mark IV  conversions I've seen used non-VW front seats that fully
reclined into a lying-down position, something which I always thought the
Westies should have had.  Not sure how much the seat pedastals were modified
to accept them, but it would be an interesting "upgrade" if the seats were
in good shape.
