If i were shopping, i would look for a soild body and interior with a blown motor or tranny. Let's face it, nearly anything out there is going to be high mileage. Go for a lower priced van due to a failure that has already happened, as opposed to a higher priced van with a failure waiting to happen. Spend the money you save on rebuilding now rather than later. steve Patrick Lacelle wrote: > I want to buy soon a westfalia and I want to get as little problem as possible...(!?!) > My question is what year should I buy and what condition should I look for? ex: 1975 with a brand new engine and trans, a 1989 in good shape or a eurovan 1992, 1993, 1994 or over.
