Subject:        85 Westy Al Propane Tank

I have a 85 Westfalia that apparently has an Aluminum propane tank.  The
propane fixit guy said that Al tanks are illegal and that I need to
replace it instead of fixing the leak.  In otherwords he will not fix it
and he said it is a safety hazard.

Is this accurate?

If so, does anyone have suggestions, sources, estimates of doing such a
replacement?
