Marshall - Yep, you're correct! I bought a Bulgarian ejection seat, designed for use in the MIG 21, and tested it in my '43 Jeep. I'm only 296# and it launched me about 6' above the Jeep It should be fine for ejecting obnoxious children/skinny folks through the sun roof on any VW van, though BOB.
