Thanks to the great advice I received from the list a month or so ago,
I have found the vanagon of my dreams, an '87 with one owner for the
past 8 years, in great shape, body and motor.  I am now nesting.
One of the small problems I'd like to fix is that a lot of the
curtain eyes are missing.  These are the little plastic devices that
slide along in the curtain tracks.  They have a little hole into which
the curtain hooks fit.  I've tried the drapery departments of local
hardware stores, and the Bus Depot, to no avail.  Anyone have a
suggestion as to how to replace these?
