Hi Mark ,
The system from the Tach is more then simple.
The Tach is not realy correct so you get a sertan amount
of impulse at idle and a definated amount at high rpm,
the pullies on all Diesels most likely the same.
In your case you will not have any problem
because the tach and engine are from the same source.
