A question to the chemically knowledgeable:

One of my partners at work lost a dog to antifreeze.  My wife the daycare
provider tells me that lots of kids are poisoned every year by drinking
antifreeze.

I know they make a "Low Tox" variety, but does it still taste sweet?  What
if there was a capful of Tabasco sauce in every gallon of antifreeze?
Would the kids spit it out, the dogs pass it by?  Would it harm the
effectiveness of the antifreeze?
