I used to ride BMW motorcycles, and the Paris/Dakar race was always a
subject of discussion due to the P/D edition of the R100GS motorcycle.
Since the P/D race seems to be a bigger deal in Europe than here in the
states, I'm curious if anyone knows anything about a Syncro ever competing
in the race...?  It seems like a perfect venue (except that the WB motor
isn't exactly bred for racing...)
