I'm still worried about the sunroof that won't close fully.  I'm not convinced that this won't be a big headache.  

I was surfing an archive (type2 I think) and I saw a post about someone adding the pop top to a sunroofer.  I think I know where there is an appropriate top for an vanagon.  Is this possible?  I thought that Chris told me it could not be done without welding the whole roof on, but I'm not sure I understood him correctly.
