Dear list,

I addressed this problem to my childrens allergist a number of years ago.  He was quite sure that just turning the air conditioner on with the windows down for 5 min. or so would blast out any mold that was in the ducts and end the problem for the season.

I would suggest that you run the "problem" past your allergist.
