My brakelights on my '83 waterboxer are not working ,fuses fine, wiring
intact, bulbs ok.  showing all the sings of being the sending unit, thing is
I replaced it not 30,000 kms ago.  not the kind of longevity I expect from a
sending unit.  Has anybody else experienced a similar failure of this
component and if so what caused it? Any input would be appreciated as it's
my main driver, my much newer f-150 is  down(again)! thanks
