Subject:Re: Oil Light on at idle only when hot

I have had a similar problem. I drive at freeway speeds on my way to work,
and no problems, as soon as I exit and put the clutch in and the RPM's drop,
the oil buzzer come on. With the clutch in I rev the engine a couple of
time and that seems to bring the pressure back up and the buzzer goes away.
The strange thing is that this does not happen all of the time, probably
once a week. It feels like the movie SPEED where the van will blow if I
drop below 55 MPH. Now if I could only get Sandra Bullock in my carpool
group.

Any clues what causes this drop in pressure?
