Thanks for the replies all - I just figured it (2 1/2 slide hammer) is
the same as someone hitting my crank with 2 1/2 Lb hammer afer it was
installed in the new shiney bearings - Now that would make me yell!
However, since Tom Young stated that it takes only a few light taps, then
there is nothing to worry about. Thanks again
