I hate to interrupt this thread about quality workmanship during the holocaust
(ain't that an ironic thought in itself), but I was curious about Vanagon or
Type Two (in general) toys. I know there was that Revell Plastic Kit of a
camper, but I see lots of metal Beetle toys from the street-vendors here in
Manhattan, and was wondering if any toy maker (Matchbox, Corgi, Dinky, etc)
ever made a "bus" toy that would roll and the doors opened or something (metal
toy preferred).

My computer monitor is adorned with a black 1966 Beetle (made in china) that I
picked up for $5, and it needs a Type Two friend. If I'm desperate, I'm going
to hit up FAO Schwartz in the next 3 weeks, and see if they carry anything.

Just wondering if anyone had leads onto this subject.

Thanks!
Brian Cirulnick
