The Bentley is good but lacks sufficient detail for many
do-it-yourselfers.  Haynes manuals at $15 each are a good supplement.
They actually tear down a real vehicle and have lots of pictures and
details, but they only have one for the air cooled Vanagon.  I have
emailed them asking for a water cooled Vanagon manual, and I would ask
the list members to do the same in hopes of encouraging them to do one.
