I have been having some strange occurances in my '89 Vanagon lately. Last week, a buzzer that I assume was the seat belt warning buzzer (I haven't heard it since I bought the van 5 years ago) kept sounding for no apparant reason. It did this intermittantly for a couple of days. I checked all the relays and fuses below the steering wheel to see if they had good contact. Now I have my right turn signal blinking at twice the pace as the left signal. I should also mention that last week I also had a problem with the idle stabilizer, but that problem seemed to right itself when I re-connected the idle stabilizer control unit. Has anything similar happened to another listmember? Also, how would I check to make sure the relays are functioning properly as I am assuming I have a short somewhere.
