That was just what I thought when my starter began to fail last summer. Sometimes, I had to turn the key over at least 40 times to get the starter to engage (I'm very stubborn). The starter is still in my car (I said I was stubborn), but hasn't had any problem since October (go figure). Maybe it will flip out again when the summer will be at its best?
