I had to get this piece replaced about a year and a half ago.  I was
told that the pipe was no longer available from VW.  After about a week
of searching we discovered that the pipe has been replaced with an
updated piece and subsequently has a different part number.  I would
suggest contacting a knowledgeable VW parts guy and ask him.  I'll
search my records to see if I can come up with the new part number.
