Dear List,

Today in rush hour traffic I saw a strange sight:

A Chevy Astro with the unmistakeable fiberglas poptop from a Westy! (Including the fading "Westfalia" sticker). The rear of the fiberglas had been "chopped off" to allow it to fit the length of the Astro. You could see the exposed canvas in the rear. Obviously a party van for the two "dudes" seen driving it.

Let us now pray for that dearly beloved Westy...
