About this 2.0 liter motronic engine...does anyone have experience
w/these engines? What does "motronic" fuel injection mean, anyhow?
P.B.--Can you tell us any more about the engine? It's gas powered,
air-cooled, I gather. I see three 2.0 liter motronic engines listed on
the "engine swap" page at http://www.volkswagen.org/--I'm wondering if
it's any of the following:
8-Valve Motronic 2.0L (93-98 Golf/Jetta/Cabriolet)
HP: 115@5400
Torque (ft/lb): 135@3200
Eng. Code: ABA
8-valve Motronic 2.0L (Beetle / 99 Jetta)
HP: 115@5200
Torque (ft/lb): 122@2600
Eng. Code AEG (Motronic)
16-valve CIS-Motronic 2.0L (90+ Golf/Jetta/Passat)
HP: 134@5800
Torque (ft/lb): 133@4400
Engine Code 9A
Think Spring!
