I did my left side rear a few months ago. I thought I'd save some $$ and buy
the CVs and drop them onto both ends of the axle. hahahahaha I couldn't get
them off and had to carry the whole shaft up to the corner gas station where
he pressed them off and on. Lesson: unless you have a press, buy both CVs on
the shaft and drop the whole shaft in as mentioned by Tom.
