Before heading out for a weekend trip, i checked to see what muight have caused my van to miss a few beats the last time i took it out 1 block from home. i let it warm up and then gave it throttle right at the engine while watching the tack...it sounded terrible...missing badly at 3000+ RPM when i leveld it off and was no longer increasing rpms. fule level was just above the red reserve level. I decided to fill up and see if that did anything. It did...it completely eliminated the problem...not a single miss on the 300 mile trip. I assume it's time for a new fuel filter. Does anybody know if anything else might result in the FI not getting sufficient fuel flow when the fuel level is low? The van was level mostly and the level was just above the red reserve. When I toook it out on the road, it produced the same missing. thanks steve
